President's Weekly Message

Mr. Frederick Kamya
4 Nov 2017.

You are welcome to the fellowship.

As we start a new month, November, let us reflect on the theme of the month: The Rotary Foundation. It means contributing to the Rotary Foundation. Take a minute to think about it. Since the year began, what has been your contribution to the foundation? What is your plan to contribute to the foundation? Are you PHF? If not, do your best to become PHF. If you are, add a stone or two or three etc.....Let's get major donors from the club to support the foundation. Let's contribute EREY ($100) each one of us. Let's do everything in our power to give to the Rotary Foundation. Let us remember the saying, "the more you give, the more you get." The TRF director is Rtn. Tinka Joseph. Please approach him.

Secondly, the Hotel management requires that we buy at least 20 plates of food every fellowship as a way to pay for our accommodation here. They are right because it is a business and not charity that they accommodate us here. It is only prudent on our part to reciprocate their magnanimity by buying the food. The board therefore requested the PP Frank Nyanzi to take on the responsibility of overseeing that that happens. When he approaches you, please cooperate so we can continue to enjoy our stay in the hotel.

Last, yet very important, PP Damien Dumba passed away over the weekend and was buried in Mpigi on Saturday 29th October, 2017. He was a past president of the club, and did a lot to start some kind of health centre in Mukono, to serve the community. Let us remember him in our prayers. May his Soul Rest in Peace.

God Bless You.

Frederick Kamya, President
