Today the 1st of February 2018, marks the beginning of a new month, and a new beginning, since this is a new year still unfolding. The challenges we are faced with are immense; the annual club dues we are paying are no longer enough to sustain the club through the year, the venue, where we have been accommodated for decades, is becoming untenable, etc...what shall we do? We need to reorganize our house. We will need to sacrifice more both in time and money, each one of us, to see our club retain the status it deserves, as the oldest club in the country. Remember the old adage goes ".....no gain without pain"
Next week, we host Rotary International President Barry Rassin at the Protea Hotel, Kololo. I urge each one of you to be there, ant o invite other Rotarians to join us.
This month's theme is Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution. It is in that spirit that we invited our guest speaker Mr. Stephen Langa, a Renowned teacher in family affairs over the years. He will be speaking to us about family relationships and setting the right priorities.
