The year is drawing to a close, and Christmas is just round the corner. There is a need therefore to rejoice and be thankful for the good that has come our way as individual members of the club, and generally as The Rotary Club of Kampala. Let us count our blessings, and name them one by one, and see how good the Lord has been to us, this year. Hasn't some bad come our way? It has. Some challenges have come come our way, probably to teach us some lesson. I hope we have had our eyes wide open to learn lessons that we needed to learn, to be able to become better Rotarians, better givers and better performers.
I take this opportunity to thank each one of us for the good work so far done. To those, that have not attended or participated as they should, I say let us pull up our socks, and do better beginning 2018. We still have a lot to do GIFTING and to chat and make more friendships, let us embrace one another happily with a spirit of togetherness and love. Let us value our friend of the year and keep that relationship close.
Today, we are also adding to our membership by three. What a great thing it is. A BIG THANK YOU to those who have been able to invite, that has enabled us to make this harvest of good people that we are adding to our great family.
